Linzi trained in Hotel and Catering management in Southampton, continuing to specialise in patisserie. Opening 'Linzis Patisserie' in Lymington High Street in 1987.
In 2000, following the birth of her second son she sold the business and set up 'Linzis of Lymington' a quality bespoke wedding cake and niche patisserie business. Clients coming from personal recommendation from the many major Hotels in the New Forest.
During this time Linzi has worked on many projects and awards such as developing a unique brandy mincemeat for Waitrose,compiling a recipe for Christmas puddings for Gales brewery using their 'Prize old Ale' and individual wedding items for Harvey Nichols. She has also been featured in 'Hello' magazine and Hampshire Society magazine amongst many press articles.
Linzi was awarded a taste award for our 'New Forest Fruit Cake', Linzi was a finalist in Hampshire Life food awards for 2005.
Linzi is an avid supporter of local produce, used where ever possible and is a member of Food from Britain and Hampshire fare.
She was an inaugural member of the 'Wessex womens network', and in 2001 was nominated a 'Hampshire Ambassador', an interesting part of her commitment to promoting and working with businesses in Hampshire and particularly the New Forest.
